Marcel Gesmundo
Marcel represents a diverse range of clients in the housing industry, including family-owned businesses, trade associations, housing authorities, nonprofits, and regional, national, and multinational housing providers. Known for his pragmatic and creative approach, Marcel empowers clients to make informed decisions that align with their unique goals. He provides guidance on federal, state, and local issues, combining legal compliance with practical considerations drawn from his extensive experience. Whether addressing specific client matters or presenting at Andor’s seminars, Marcel educates clients on navigating complex legal landscapes. In trials, hearings, and appeals, he is dedicated to protecting and defending clients’ rights.
An active leader in the housing industry, Marcel serves as an executive board member for Multifamily NW, a National Apartment Association (NAA) affiliate. Since 2023, he has chaired the Multifamily NW Government Affairs Committee, playing a key role in lobbying efforts to ensure the housing industry’s perspective is represented in policy decisions. Additionally, Marcel volunteers on the Forms Committe, assisting Multifamily NW with its widely used forms and training programs.
Outside of work, Marcel enjoys spending time with his family exploring the coast and mountains in the Pacific Northwest. In his spare time, he volunteers with various nonprofits dedicated to education, children’s health, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, including serving on the board of the International School of Portland.
